Short version: design-bridge does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All processing happens locally on your device.

1. What design-bridge does

design-bridge is a Chrome extension that scans the visual styles of websites you visit: colours, typography, spacing, shadows, border radii, and UI components, and generates a design system file you can import into Figma.

The extension only activates when you explicitly click the Extract Design System button. It does not run passively in the background.

2. Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. No account is required. No analytics, tracking pixels, or telemetry are included in the extension.

The extension reads the following information from the current browser tab:

• Computed CSS styles — colours, fonts, spacing values, shadows and border radii extracted from the page's DOM elements
• Page title and URL — used only to label your exported JSON file and display the site name in the extension popup
• DOM structure — element tags and class names, used to detect UI component patterns (buttons, cards, inputs etc.)

None of this data leaves your device. It is held temporarily in browser session storage and discarded when you close the browser.
